With a new year comes new opportunities, and that's what the UofG Welcome is all about!

For UofG Welcome, the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) will be getting together with Glasgow University Sports Association (GUSA), as well as societies and sports clubs, to host events to either welcome you back to University after the summer break, or welcome you to Glasgow for the very first time!

The UofG Welcome takes place September 12th - 19th 2025. Our events are open to all new and returning students at the University of Glasgow, with inclusivity at the heart of everything we do. We can't wait to welcome you all and share everything we love about living and studying here in Glasgow!

Some of the highlights you can look forward to include the Welcome Fair where you can meet many of our societies and sports clubs, our popular social events including the Welcome Ceilidh, tours around campus and the West Ends, taster sessions, student mixers, and a whole host of society events.
