The Glasgow University Women in Politics Society is female led society which aims to promote inclusivity, representation, and empowerment. At GUWIP we celebrate Women in Politics while also providing a space to encourage those of us who are interested in working in the field to raise our voice and gain confidence!
We aim to facilitate many events throughout the year such as guest speaker events, study sessions and coffee mornings, movie nights, a book club, as well as a trip to the Scottish Parliament!
We believe that everyone should be treated with respect in Politics and that women can create and do great things – which is why we strive to be a community of support and friendship to all women on campus!
