About

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE MEMBERSHIPS UNTIL TRIALS ARE COMPLETE

We are a fun, competitive and friendly netball club which accommodates to all levels of netball.

Whether you're a novice wanting to learn a new skill, a one-timer ready to play again, or a seasoned netball player ready for your next challenge, we are the club for you! Improve your fitness, make lifelong friends and play a highly skilled game!

Training:

We train at the Glasgow Academy and the Stevenson building.

Our recreational and development squads train on Mondays and Tuesdays as well as our BUCS squads (3-6s) who also train on those respective days. Our performance squad (1-2s) train multiple times per week.

Our training facilitates all levels of play, and so, we have two slots available:

Recreational training
Our beginners rec training takes place on Monday evenings, and our development rec takes place on Tuesday evenings. Both sessions are fun but also challenging enough to improve your skills without the pressure of competition.

Squad training
A session for the more experienced. Always a fast paced and fun session where girls will be constantly improving on their skills and preparing themselves for competitive games in both Glasgow and BUCS University leagues.

Teams:

We currently have six squads competing in the BUCS university leagues on Saturdays, our 1s and 2s play in 1A - the highest BUCS tier in Scotland. Our 3s play in 3A, our 4s in 6A and our 5s in 7A (after only one season of participating in BUCS). The 6s, our newly established BUCS squad for the 2024/25 season will be playing in 8A! All of these leagues are highly competitive and rewarding and we are super proud of all our players.

Aside from playing BUCS and related competitions, we also participate in the Netball Scotland National League (streamed on BBC Sport Scotland), Glasgow Netball Association (GNA), the Scottish Cup and Taxis Cup – a competition between the three universities in Glasgow: University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde, and Glasgow Caledonian University.

Our 1s and 2s play in the local Glasgow Netball Association League. With our 1s playing Division 1 and the 2s playing Division 2 (these divisions are extremely high-quality and sometimes attract national players).
