We consider any University of Glasgow student who gives up their time freely, for the benefit of others, to be a volunteer. This includes fulfilling a committee role, organising fundraising or social events, or taking part in community and on-campus voluntary work as part of your club or society. It's important to us that your hard work is recognised and credited. We therefore encourage you to register as a volunteer and add your club or society volunteering roles to your profile. This allows you to record your volunteering hours and keep track of the skills you are developing through your activities, and enables us to ensure that your efforts are formally recognised.
You can find out more about how to register as a volunteer and log your club or society volunteering hours by checking out our volunteering guide here.
Our clubs and societies listed below volunteer within the local community and on campus. If you'd like to find out how you can get involved with any of them, you can go to their club or society page and contact them directly via their social media or email address provided.
If you are an SRC-affiliated club or society and would like help recruiting volunteers, additional support and guidance, or to feature on this page, please email us at volunteering@src.gla.ac.uk and we will be happy to help!
