The Ossianic Society, Glasgow University’s second oldest society, creates opportunities for Glasgow University students to speak Gaelic to one another and to take part in events related to the culture and community of the Gaelic language. The Society aims to create an environment where speakers of Gaelic, Gaelic learners, or those with an interest in the language can come together and where Gaelic is spoken naturally.
